How to Become an Event Coordinator?
To become an Event Coordinator, you don’t need any specific qualifications or experience – however, basic Maths and English (typically to a GCSE level) is useful for your day-to-day work as you will need to manage communications and budgets accurately. A valid driving license might also be helpful, but not necessary for this role. Instead, you should develop core Event Coordinator skills such as communication, budget management, and problem solving, through work experience and volunteer positions.
